please upload as early as possible….have been eagerly waiting since last year….
Thanks for letting us know. I’ve been eagerly looking forward to seeing them.
This does not bode well for the SIAI’s ability to fulfill its mission. If it takes this long to process some videos, how long will it take to respond to a rising malignant AGI?
@gadfly Are you kidding? This is great! When strong, bad AGI arises, SIAI can simply erase any trace of it and replace it with a “Skynet forthcoming” message!
I still have them and can upload them to youtube or vimeo if you don’t mind. Also you should post them in mp3 or ogg format for those of us who want to listen to them as a podcast.
They were up on YouTube but got DMCA’d out of existence. I think a better use would be creating a torrent. There are already torrents of the other two years of the conference readily available.
Just my $0.02. Thanks for offering to help!
@xamox yes, please upload them. then we can add you on the sidebar “Xamox - Director of Finally Getting the (*&!ing Videos Up”
Hi Xamox, do you have maybe the video lecture of Ray Kurzweil from the summit? I’m so waiting for it, even just the mp3, can you please give your Email ?
Xamox, Hi again, can you please mail me at -

?
Thanks very much.
This is why i am sceptical about the Singularity.
It seems human laziness and incompetence is accelarating in proportion to technological progress.
Can you guys (whoever has the official videos) just please give some sort of explanation or estimate? I mean I have been coming back to check to see if the videos are up almost every day for like 16 weeks.
I mean, I’m sure you have lots of important work to do and I don’t mean to take anything for granted since you are doing this for free but why did you even say you were going to put them up if it was going to take so long? What is going on?
