Powerset, a natural-language search engine start-up, has gone to public beta. Co-founder and CTO Dr. Barney Pell is a scientific advisor to SIAI.

Narrow-AI technologies such as this continue to advance rapidly, setting the stage for development towards a more flexible Artificial General Intelligence.

SIAI is working on creating such AGI, while ensuring that it will be safe for humanity.
